At Say It With Sugar Cake Shop, every cake comes with a little love story behind it.

 

Monica and Treg have been creating together for over 26 years—both in marriage and in buttercream. Monica first discovered her love for decorating in a small-town deli, she has been cake decorating since 1995  and Treg brought his builder’s skills from carpentry to cake making. Together, they’ve mixed hard work, faith, and a whole lot of heart into a business that helps people celebrate life’s sweetest moments.

 

They opened Say It With Sugar in downtown Wylie back in 2010, and it quickly became a local favorite for beautiful, custom cakes made with care. From weddings to birthdays and everything in between, each design is handcrafted with love by a family that truly enjoys what they do.

 

Their daughter, Sienna, grew up in the bakery and still helps out when she can. She’s now chasing her own dream of becoming a welder—proof that creativity and craftsmanship run deep in the family.

 

For us, it’s never just about cake. It’s about family, community, and a little sweetness shared with everyone who walks through their doors.
